Thank you to everyone who came out to vote at Wyndmere Public School yesterday! It's an important process for all of us to participate in.
Here are the UNOFFICIAL RESULTS (the results of the election will be canvassed and made official on Monday, June 24.
Question #1, giving the Wyndmere School Board permission to levy up to 20 mills for the Building Fund: 107 for, 46 against. The question has preliminarily passed with 70% approval (60% is needed to pass).
For the two open school board positions:
Kara Bernard received 107 votes, Suzanna Kuchera received 29 votes, some others each received 1 vote for the City of Wyndmere seat.
John Manstrom received 47 votes, Kylie Martinson received 45 votes, and several others each received 1 or 2 votes for the Danton, Dexter, Liberty Grove, Wyndmere townships and a portion of Sargent County seat.
