The Richland-Wilkin Food Pantry is in desperate need of food items as the holiday season approaches. The WPS Honor Society is hosting a food drive from November 18-26. Please consider helping our our local Food Pantry! Grades K-3 are asked to contribute canned fruit, vegetables, beans, stew, broth or soup stock. Grades 4-8 are asked to contribute dry pastas, peanut butter, dry rice, or dry beans. Grades 9-12 and Staff are asked to contribute female care items, shampoos, soaps, detergents, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, and diapers. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated!

We are in need of groups to run the Concession Stand (pop, candy and popcorn only) for home basketball games (starting as soon as Tuesday, November 12)! If you are interested in working to raise money for a school organization or a charity of your choice, please contact scott.strenge@k12.nd.us. High School games are $50 for 2 games and $60 for 3 games. Junior High games are 25% of the profit (up to $50). Clean-up after the game is $50 for High School games and $40 for Junior High games. There needs to be at least one adult present at all times. Please consider helping out!

Yesterday, the Sophomore class enjoyed an incredible experience with former student Brayden Busche, who presented his business, Aerial Ag Drone Services LLC. Brayden shared insights into his aerial spray operations and demonstrated how he uses drones for commercial spraying. A big thank you to Brayden for an engaging and informative live presentation!

PARENT - TEACHER CONFERENCE SCHEDULE Thursday, November 7, 2024 3:30-9:30 PM • School will dismiss at 3:00 p.m. with buses running at that time. • ALL Teachers will meet with parents in their classroom.  Elementary teachers are by appointment only.  JH/HS teachers will meet as available – there will be chairs outside each classroom to wait if there is a parent with the teacher you want to see. • 7-12 music student parents: please be sure to pick up your butter braid order if it hasn’t been picked up already! • There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, November 8 OR on Monday, November 11.
