The Wyndmere School Board will hold a Special Meeting at 7:30 AM on Thursday, November 13th in the WPS ITV Room. The meeting will also be live-streamed on the Wyndmere Warbirds YouTube Channel. This year's leadership class led our annual Day of Caring on October 22nd! This team of students planned activities to help both the community of Wyndmere and residents in surrounding communities. All 7-12 students participated in a group doing a wide range of activities such as cleaning school buses, raking leaves, making tie blankets for individuals in hospice care, visiting with veterans at the VA Home in Lisbon, cleaning and yard work at Dakota Estates in Lidgerwood, projects at the daycare (Warbirds Nest), and other projects within the school and community! A special thank you to all the local businesses who supported the cause financially: The Black Pelican, Task Manufacturing, Minnkota, S&B Construction, Wyndmere Auto, Warbirds Nest, Red River Telecommunications, Paul's Electric, Bobcat, TSC, Econo Foods, Wolfe Ford, and Wittenburg Turkeys!

Howdy! We are looking forward to watching 21 of our students compete at the 2nd Annual Poetry Slam on Wednesday, October 15th at 7:00pm at the Wyndmere Museum Schoolhouse. Cowboy Poet Carson Houser will be sharing his writing along with other local judges. We hope to see you there!

Who can go? “We recommend this trip for students who are currently in 7th through 11th grade. This allows for a mix of students who will be entering high school or just graduating by the time of the trip.”
Payment: Payment plans are available! “We will also be fundraising, and we absolutely encourage Wyndmere students to participate in fundraising activities as well.”
Adult Supervision: “Travelers do not need to be accompanied by an adult, but parents and other adults are more than welcome to join the group!”
